Klute

A small-town Pennsylvania police officer offers to look into the disappearance of a local businessman, following the case’s only lead to New York and a high-priced call girl who is trying to change her life. As she becomes the target of a dangerous stalker, she is forced to rely on the reluctant private eye drawn into the missing-person investigation.
