Paper Butterfly

In 1965 Banyuwangi, a young couple tries to hold on to their love as unrest grows around them. Their relationship is tested by escalating violence and the weight of opposing political backgrounds, placing them on different sides of a dangerous moment in history. Against the backdrop of an incident many may not know, they struggle to stay together while the world around them threatens to pull them apart.
