Last Exit to Brooklyn

In 1950s Brooklyn, a group of people struggle under the weight of a harsh neighborhood marked by union corruption, violence, and social pressure. A union strike leader confronts his sexuality, a prostitute falls in love with one of her customers, and a family is shaken by their daughter’s illegitimate pregnancy, as each faces forces both around them and within themselves.
