After a car accident leaves his young nephew orphaned, a Shaolin monk travels to the United States to care for the boy and start a new life. Hoping to open his own martial arts academy, he joins forces with a former student, but the partnership pulls him into unexpected danger when trouble with the Russian Mafia draws him into a violent kung fu underworld.
