An aspiring filmmaker obsessively records the world around him, carrying his camera everywhere and turning private moments into footage for his own disturbing purposes. As his fixation grows, he begins stalking and filming women, and his behavior takes an increasingly violent turn when he becomes obsessed with Courtney, casting her as the center of his deranged film.
