New York private investigator Harry D’Amour is in Los Angeles on what seems like a routine case, guarding the wife of an illusionist. The assignment takes a darker turn when he crosses paths with members of a fanatic cult. They are preparing to resurrect Nix, their powerful magician leader, who was killed 13 years earlier.
