Ivan Cohen is a young man growing up in Palo Alto, California, where he feels increasingly out of step with the life around him. Disappointed by his slacker friends, caught up in feelings for a girl who does not know he exists, and weighed down by a dysfunctional family, Ivan struggles to understand who he is and where he belongs.
