In Watts, California, a young street hustler reaches the days after graduation facing the pressures of life in the ghetto. Surrounded by the rigors and temptations of the streets, he tries to look beyond the world he knows and find a way toward something better. Over several tense days, his search for a different future is tested by the pull of the life he is trying to leave behind.
