Teenage misfits Hunter and Kevin believe they have found a simple path to glory: devote themselves completely to heavy metal, form a band, and win Battle of the Bands. To make their dream work, the two friends bring a cellist into the mix, hoping their unlikely lineup can help them prove themselves and earn the kind of devotion they imagine metal legends receive.
