Midwinter

A rising music writer takes an assignment profiling one of her favorite queer indie artists, and the work trip becomes a romantic weekend shaped by admiration, intimacy, and uncertainty. At the same time, her older sister navigates motherhood, a changing marriage, and the realities of a slow, fierce chronic illness, as both women move through the quiet poetry of everyday life.
