In 1990s post-communist Slovakia, Miki, a former woods worker, sees a chance to change his life by starting small in local business. As the old order gives way to new opportunities and uncertainty, he pushes further into a world where ambition and power go hand in hand, steadily rising through the ranks on his way to becoming the country’s biggest mafia boss.
