A group of young offenders is serving community service when a violent storm strikes and lightning leaves them with strange superpowers. As they try to carry on under the weight of abilities they never asked for, the first anniversary of the storm approaches. With their service nearing completion, tensions rise until the Misfits find themselves facing a threat from someone within their own group.
