A low-level bookie in Los Angeles stumbles onto what seems like an extraordinary stroke of luck: five pounds of crystal LSD. But the discovery quickly brings trouble with it, turning a chance find into a dangerous burden. As good fortune gives way to bad luck, he is pulled into a situation far bigger and riskier than his usual world.
