Once a promising novelist, a Korean literature professor gave up writing after harsh criticism in his youth. Now teaching at a top university, he grows increasingly frustrated with his students’ weak prose while carrying the weight of his own failure. When he recognizes real talent in one student, he offers writing lessons, but the deeper he sinks into the student’s story, the more their sessions spiral into chaos.
