Once Upon a River

After the violent death of her father, Native American teenager Margo Crane leaves home and travels down Michigan’s Stark River in search of her estranged mother. Along the way, the river draws her into a world of natural beauty, unexpected wonders, and real danger, as she meets both allies and enemies and begins to face her past and her own identity.
