Orphan

In 1957 Budapest, a year after the Hungarian Revolution is crushed, a 12-year-old Jewish boy is being raised by his mother on stories of an idealized father lost to the camps. His fragile hopes are upended when a brutish stranger arrives at their door, claiming to be his real father and intent on taking the family back, forcing the boy to confront a painful new reality.
