After her father’s death, Clarence, a young woman in Spain, finds part of a letter that raises questions about her family’s past. In 2003, the discovery leads her from the snowy mountains of Huesca to Equatorial Guinea, and to Fernando Poo, the island where her father Jacobo and her uncle Kilian spent much of their youth.
