Pride

Determined coach Jim Ellis takes a job at the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and sees a chance to reach troubled teens through swimming. With help from a local janitor, he sets out to build Philadelphia’s first Black swim team, challenging expectations in a community that doubts them. As the team comes together, they face rigid rules, racism and the steep odds against them.
