Queen of Katwe

In the Katwe slum of Kampala, Uganda, 10-year-old Phiona and her family face daily hardship. Her life begins to change when she meets Robert Katende, a missionary who teaches local children to play chess. Drawn into the game, Phiona discovers a new talent and a possible path beyond the limits of her disadvantaged upbringing.
