In June 2003, Reg Keys and his wife Sally return to their home in the Welsh countryside and hear news that six military policemen have been murdered in Iraq. When two men arrive at their door, they learn their son Tom is among the dead. In the wake of the loss, Reg’s grief leads him into public action as he challenges Tony Blair for his Sedgefield seat in the 2005 General Election.
