After a massive earthquake strikes California, a rescue-chopper pilot is pulled into a desperate mission that becomes deeply personal. Joined by his ex-wife, he travels across the damaged state, facing a dangerous path in the aftermath of the disaster as they try to reach and rescue his estranged daughter before it is too late.
