In late-1970s Dundee, Davie’s football career is over, and he turns to promoting gigs with two friends. What starts as a rough new venture quickly grows more dangerous after a run-in with local gangster Fergie leaves Davie in debt. Out of his depth but desperate to break free, the fledgling promoter raises his ambitions toward booking major bands, including a huge Iron Maiden show.
