Seeking a Friend for the End of the World

As an asteroid approaches Earth, a man is left on his own when his wife runs off in a panic. Facing the end of the world with little left to lose, he sets out on a road trip to find and reunite with his high school sweetheart. Along the way, a neighbor comes with him and unintentionally complicates his plans, turning his final attempt at connection into something far less straightforward.
