Southside With You

In the summer of 1989, Barack Obama is a freshman at Harvard Law School working at a Chicago law firm under the supervision of young attorney Michelle Robinson. When he invites her to spend a day with him, Michelle is reluctant at first, but agrees. Their time together unfolds across Chicago’s South Side, tracing the first date that begins a defining relationship.
