Stand Up & Shout: Songs From a Philly High School

This musical documentary follows Philadelphia teenagers at Hill-Freedman World Academy as they take part in a distinctive songwriting program. Working together, the students turn their thoughts, feelings, and dreams into an album of original songs, using music to express the hard times they are living through as well as the joy and connection the creative process brings.
