Taboo - Season 1

In 1814, during the War of 1812, adventurer James Keziah Delaney returns to London from Africa after the death of his father, carrying fourteen stolen diamonds and a hunger for vengeance. As he sets out to rebuild his family’s shipping empire, Delaney finds that his inheritance is fiercely contested by the government and his most powerful competitor, both willing to use any means, even murder, to take it from him.
