Taras Bulba

In 16th-century Ukraine, Polish overlords and Ukrainian Cossacks struggle for control of the steppes, even as Turkish invasions force uneasy alliances against a common enemy. Amid the conflict, Andrei, the son of Cossack leader Taras Bulba, is torn between loyalty to his family and his people and his love for a Polish woman.
