In this present-day sci-fi mystery, Detective Sam Morris takes on a missing-persons case that quickly becomes more than a routine investigation. As she follows the case, the mystery begins to unsettle the boundaries of her own life, throwing her personal world into turmoil and forcing her to confront how closely the investigation may be tied to her.
