The Bookshop

In 1959 England, Florence Green sets out to open a bookshop in a small East Anglian town. What begins as a simple plan to bring books into the community soon meets polite but ruthless resistance from local forces. As opposition hardens, her decision turns into a political minefield, testing her resolve in a place determined to protect its own order.
