After his wife, Elizabeth, is seriously injured in a boating accident and left on life support, Hawaiian land baron Matt King struggles to reconnect with his two daughters. As the family faces an uncertain future, Matt takes them from Oahu to Kauai to confront a young real estate broker who was involved with Elizabeth before the accident.
