The Eclipse

In this personal documentary, an exiled film artist looks back on her upbringing during the Yugoslav war, using the solar eclipse of 1999 as a haunting point of reflection. Through interviews with family and acquaintances, analogue images of landscapes, and passages from her father’s wartime journals, the film considers how traces of a dark past remain embedded in the present.
