Set across five hospitals in the neighborhoods of northern Paris, De Humani Corporis Fabrica looks closely at the human body from the inside. The film observes flesh as a strange and intricate landscape, one that comes into view through the gaze, care, and attention of others. Moving through this interior world, it presents the body as both familiar and alien, fragile and unexpectedly beautiful.
