The Gauntlet

Phoenix cop Ben Shockley, a hard-edged officer whose career is slipping, is given a routine-looking assignment: bring a witness from Las Vegas to Phoenix for a mob trial. The witness is a combative prostitute with mob connections and damaging information about a high-ranking official. As Shockley tries to get her into custody, it becomes clear that powerful people are betting they will never arrive alive.
