The Half of It

Ellie Chu is a shy, straight-A teen who is smart, broke and used to keeping to herself. When Paul, a sweet but inarticulate jock, hires her to help write a love letter to the most popular girl in school, Ellie agrees for the money. What starts as a simple arrangement grows more complicated as Ellie and Paul become unlikely friends, and Ellie realizes she has feelings for the same girl.
