The Innocents

In Poland in 1945, Mathilde, a young French Red Cross doctor, is working to help survivors of the German camps in the aftermath of the war. When a nun urgently asks for her assistance, Mathilde is led to a convent where several sisters are secretly pregnant. As the women struggle to reconcile their faith with their situation, Mathilde becomes the only person they can turn to for help.
