Deliveryman Doug Heffernan enjoys a comfortable life with his wife, Carrie, a big television, and friends who come over to watch it. But his easy routine changes when Carrie’s newly widowed father, Arthur, moves into their home. With Arthur taking over the renovated basement, Doug finds himself sharing his space with a goofy, annoying presence who upends his place as king of the house.
