Deliveryman Doug Heffernan enjoys a comfortable life with his wife, Carrie, a big television, and a close group of friends to watch it with. But his sense of control at home changes when Carrie’s newly widowed father, Arthur, moves in. With Arthur taking over the renovated basement, Doug finds his easy routine disrupted by a goofy, irritating presence under his own roof.
