The Last Duel

Knight Jean de Carrouges is drawn into a grave dispute involving his wife, Marguerite, and his former friend and squire, Jacques Le Gris. With the conflict beyond private resolution, King Charles VI declares that Carrouges must settle the matter by challenging Le Gris to a duel to the death, turning a personal accusation into a deadly trial of honor.
