The Long Shadow

In rural Louisiana, a young female sheriff’s deputy confronts her town’s old-money establishment after the woman she loves is murdered. The victim, an attorney, had been fighting to stop a rail deal that threatens to displace the town’s poor, forcing the deputy to face the powerful interests behind the conflict in the community she is sworn to serve.
