Set in Amsterdam, 1686, The Miniaturist focuses on Nella Oortman, who marries a rich merchant, hoping for love and prosperity. Instead, she enters a world of tensions, secrets and mystery which soon threatens her future. Season 1 is released on 26 December, 2017.
