The Pebble and the Boy

John Parker, a 19-year-old from Manchester, sets out for Brighton on an old Lambretta scooter left to him by his father. Drawn toward the seaside city regarded as the spiritual home of the Mods, his trip becomes a tribute to Mod culture, fashion and identity, with the film’s atmosphere shaped by music from Paul Weller and The Jam.
