The Philadelphia Experiment

In 1943, a United States Navy destroyer escort takes part in an experimental attempt to make the ship invisible at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard. When the test goes wrong, the vessel disappears and two sailors are sent forty years ahead to 1984. Inspired by an alleged actual event, the film follows the strange consequences of a Navy experiment that affects time as well as visibility.
