In small-town Iowa, teenager Agnes and her two sisters try to get through a single difficult day inside a chaotic home crowded by gamblers, thieves, and johns. Based on a dramatization of Lori Petty’s teenage years, the film follows the sisters as they navigate an unstable household and the pressures of growing up amid neglect, danger, and constant disruption.
