The Real Red Tails

The Real Red Tails follows the effort to recover a Tuskegee Airman’s downed World War II plane from the depths of Lake Huron. Through underwater archaeology, firsthand accounts, and footage of the wreck, the documentary pieces together the story behind the aircraft and examines the 80-year-old mystery that has remained beneath the water.
