The Road Not Taken

In the Gobi Desert, an ostrich farmer burdened by debt to the local mob is pulled into a dangerous arrangement. To settle his obligations, he agrees to watch over a kidnapped boy while the child’s father is pressured to deliver the ransom. Isolated and trapped between criminal demands and the boy in his care, the farmer faces a tense situation with little room to escape.
