The Sound of Music

In 1930s Austria, in the years before World War II, a tomboyish young postulant from an abbey is sent by her convent to work as a governess. She enters the home of a widowed naval captain and his seven children, where her warmth, spirit, and love of music begin to bring new life into a household shaped by discipline and loss.
