After World War II, boxer Harry Haft struggles to live with the memories and guilt of surviving concentration camps, where he fought fellow prisoners to stay alive. Still haunted by the past, he returns to the ring and pursues high-profile bouts against boxing legends, including Rocky Marciano, hoping the attention will help him find his first love again.
