After losing her job and watching her latest dysfunctional relationship fall apart, a woman heads to the countryside for a quiet weekend away. She rents a secluded country house from an old-fashioned widower, hoping for a little peace and distance from her problems. But her host is struggling to conceal his psychopathic tendencies, and the clash between them soon turns frightening.
