David is twenty-five and facing a future with few real prospects. He spends his days at an inner-city gym, working as an instructor alongside his best friend Morten and moving in the orbit of petty criminals. The gym is run by Jarle, a sadistic small-time criminal who, with his son Lars, deals in anabolic steroids. When police find drugs there, David makes a desperate choice so he can see his dying father.
