Seventeen-year-old Veronica is a Missouri teen with plans for an Ivy League future and the career she hopes will follow. When she discovers she is pregnant, those dreams suddenly feel at risk. Unable to get an abortion in Missouri without her parents’ permission, Veronica turns to her former best friend Bailey and convinces her to join a road trip to Albuquerque to seek the procedure.
